Credentials: PhD, MBA

Position title: IHC, Bright Field and Fluorescent Multispectral Imaging

Vishal comes with over 16 years of research experience in the fields of Medical Microbiology, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology and Immunology. Prior to joining the TRIP lab in the summer of 2018, he worked as Asst. Scientist in a Neuroscience Lab at the Waisman Center, UW Madison. Vishal is particularly trained in immune cell functioning, cell death pathways, genetic and post-translational signaling and cell culturing. Vishal worked with in vitro and in vivo models of Hypoxia and Ischemia to reveal any sexually differential role of receptor signaling in mouse brains. Vishal, at TRIP lab enjoys exploring vast array of imaging possibilities with the Vectra imaging system and loves to optimize IHC protocols using manual or automated immuno-staining procedures.
